Meeting Scheduled On COVID Vaccines For Children

The FDA is scheduling an advisory committee meeting for October 26, where they will review a request to authorize a covid vaccine for kids. The University of Texas Health System says this has taken a long time because of concerns about heart problems. The head of the FDA said the agency intends to evaluate data from a comprehensive clinical trial to ensure the vaccine is safe and effective on young children.
