Men Jailed In Delta County After Truck Runs Out Of Gas

Delta County received an advisory that a truck stolen in Arkansas could be in Delta County. Deputies located the vehicle on Hwy 24 with Michael Penn, 64, asleep in the passenger seat. He told deputies that William Sprayberry, 43, had gone to get gas, and they arrested him while walking along the road. He possessed a lot of counterfeit money and a syringe filled with narcotics. They charged Penn with unauthorized use of a vehicle.
