Mesquite Man Gets 40 Years For Child Sexual Assault

The Hunt County trial of 54-year-old Jay Edward Woodberry of Mesquite was on August 8. It is on an indictment for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child. He changed his mind and decided to plead guilty to the charge, and Judge Richard Beacom sentenced him to 40 years in prison.
