Mexican National Guilty In Upshur County Of Intoxication Manslaughter, Assault

An illegal immigrant who had twice been deported from the United States has pleaded guilty in Upshur County to Intoxication Manslaughter and Intoxication Assault. District Judge Lauren Parish sentenced 30-year-old Noe Paz-Aguillon to 16 years in prison on each count, to be served concurrently. The charges stemmed from a 2014 crash that claimed the life of Charles Gibbs of Overton and seriously injured his wife, Carol.
