MIlitary Grave Markers Stolen In Upshur County

Upshur County deputies are investigating the theft of  bronze military grave markers from the Zion Hill Cemetery in the 2600 block of Poppy Road in Gilmer. The markers include the last names Hargest, Granville, Lynn and Tanner. Each marker also contains the individual’s service record. Anyone with information about the markers should call Lieutenant Gary Shirley at (903) 680-8231.
