Mineola Man Acquitted Of Murder Charge

A Mineola man was found not guilty Wednesday by a Wood County jury of murder. In the case, 46-year-old Jason Walters was on trial for fatally shooting 18-year-old Chris Griffin behind the EZ-Mart convenience store in Mineola in June of 2014. Walters had claimed the shooting was in self-defense.
