Miranda’s News Album Release Date in Today’s Nashville Roundup

Cole Swindell tells Haute Living magazine that Luke Bryan gave him the best career advice. “I remember asking him in college if he had any advice. I wanted to be a songwriter so I asked if he had advice to give as I worked on that dream. He sent back one word, ‘live.’ I think that’s good life advice as well as songwriting advice.”

Matt Stell tells People magazine that he keeps his songwriting as authentic as possible. “When I sit down in a room either just by myself or with co-writers, we are just trying to be as authentic as we can and try to tell stories that people can relate to. I always think of a song having its own character. It’s not necessarily going to be about me all of the time.”

Runaway June’s Jennifer Wayne tells People magazine that she is the granddaughter of legendary actor John Wayne. “My grandfather gave me the western, cowboy country blood because I always loved country music … years later, here I am with the girls.”

Luke Bryan tells CMT that he is always on a mission to catch the biggest fish. “I’m still on my quest for a 10-pound bass. I have never caught a 10-pound bass, but it’s going to happen. The biggest fish I’ve ever caught was probably a 100-pound sailfish. And I’ve caught some big grouper. I caught a 300-pound nurse shark one time. I’ve caught a lot of fish, but I plan on doing some marlin fishing one day.”

Miranda Lambert’s new album, Wildcard,” will be released on November 1st. She says, “When people listen to this record, I want them to know that I see them and hear them. I feel you, because I’m just a girl from East Texas, writing about all the things that go on in my world and in the worlds of people around me. I want people to get along. You know, just be who you are, own it and move on from the moments you couldn’t live in.”

Blake Shelton tells Pop Culture Country that he is not working on a new album at the moment. “I don’t think I’m really working on an album still, to be honest with you. I just want to record some songs and release them. I know it’s inevitable that we are going to have a project and we’ve already had some calls this week [with] the label; there’s no way they’re not going to try put together some kind of a project, so I know that’s going to happen. But I’m loving just recording a song and putting it out there.”
