Mistrial Declared In Murder Re-trial

A mistrial has been declared in the retrial of Marven Arrell Stanton on murder charges. Stanton is accused of fatally shooting a man in an argument over a parking space at a Texarkana convenience store. The mistrial was declared after Stanton’s attorney said he may be a witness in the case and was ineligible to serve as a lead defense attorney.
