Mistrial In Lamar County Sexual Assault Of A Child Case

A Lamar County jury of six men and six women announced it was deadlocked in the sexual assault of a child trial of 43-year-old Kenneth Chambless, of Paris, and a mistrial was declared by District Judge Wes Tidwell. A hung jury does not mean the defendant is guilty or not guilty, and the case may be filed again by prosecutors.
