The Dallas Cowboys have fired two coaching staff members: defensive coordinator Mike Nolan and defensive line coach Jim Tomsula.

Here are last weekend’s results.

Baltimore over Tennessee 20-13, New Orleans did in The Bears 21-9, and the Brown’s quarterback wasn’t born the last time they won the AFC wild-card birth with a 48-37 win over the Steelers. And it all started with the Browns recovering the brown ball in the end zone on the opening. Seattle is out, and the Rams take a 30-20 victory, while Buffalo beat the Colts 27-24, it was Tampa Bay over Washington 31-23.

NBA

The Thunder took care of business, winning 129-116 over the Brooklyn Nets. Houston lost to the Lakers 120-102, and the Timberwolves got the best of the Spurs 96-88.

MLB

Tommy Lasorda, the fiery Hall of Fame manager who guided the Los Angeles Dodgers to two World Series titles and later became an ambassador for the sport he loved during his 71 years with the franchise, has died. He was 93. The Dodgers said Friday that he had a heart attack at his home in Fullerton, California.

HIGH SCHOOL

The Pittsburg Pirates won all four of its soccer games and held their opponents scoreless in each one. The Pirates beat Gladewater Thursday, 10-0, Mineola, 5-0, in the early Friday game, and then did in Texas High, 6-0, that evening. The Pirates took care of Texas High in the Championship match 3-0 at Pirate Stadium.

It was close, but no winner Saturday. Longview Lobos won 56-54 at the buzzer with a long throw on Sulphur Springs Wildcats. The girls did better. They took care of Longview 49-26.
