A warm start to the holiday weekend will be followed by a cold front Saturday afternoon and colder weather Sunday and Monday. A few strong to severe storms may accompany the front across East Texas. Another strong arctic cold front will arrive around the middle of next week, dropping temperatures into the teens and lower 20s and wind chills in the single digits to teens (Tuesday night and Wednesday night). It is uncertain whether or not any winter precipitation will occur.
