Motorcycle Accident Kills A Man

Last Saturday night around 11:00, a two-vehicle accident occurred on US 271 about eight miles south of Gilmer. A Mitsubishi was towing a homemade trailer driven by Jesse Johnson, 33, of Gilmer, attempted to back out of a private drive. A Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Troy Cagle, 52, of Gilmer struck the trail. Judge Jameson pronounced Cagle dead at Longview Regional Medical Center. His passenger Teresa Cagle, 56, of Gilmer is in stable condition.
