SOCCER

The Mount Pleasant High School Tigers beat Lovejoy High School 2-1 and have advanced to the Regional Tournament. The Tigers will take on Midlothian Friday (Apr 13) at 3:00 pm at Carrollton’s Standridge Stadium.

Early Release

MPISD Schools to Release Early On April 13
Mount Pleasant ISD schools will release early on Friday, April 13 so students and staff can attend the MPHS Soccer Regional tournament game at 3:00 p.m. that afternoon in Carrollton’s Standridge Stadium. Schools will release and busses will run on the following schedule:
12:00 pm:
Annie Sims Elementary School
E.C. Brice Elementary School
Vivian Fowler Elementary School
Frances Corprew Elementary School

12:30 pm:
P.E. Wallace Middle School

1:00 pm
Mt. Pleasant High School
Mt. Pleasant Junior High School
Child Development Center

BASEBALL

Mt Pleasant is finishing their baseball game today (Apr 09) against Hallsville in Hallsville at 5:00 pm. The Tigers are up 3-2 in the bottom of sixth with two outs.

Mt Pleasant’s baseball game Tuesday (Apr 10) against Pine Tree, starts at 5:00 pm with the JV and 7:30 for the Varsity at Mount Pleasant. They pushed the time back due to testing, and Pine Tree is unable to get here at the usual time.

SOFTBALL

The scheduled softball game on Friday (April 6th) at Hallsville was rained out and moved to Monday (Apr 9) in Hallsville at 5:00 pm. It is Varsity only. Tuesday (Apr 10) the varsity team plays Pine Tree at Mt Pleasant with a 6:00 pm start. Pine Tree canceled their JV schedule for the remainder of the season.
