Lady Tiger golf wins Hallsville Invitational.
The MPHS Lady Tigers golf team played in the Hallsville Invitational on Monday, February 27, and posted one of their best tournament rounds of the season. The group claimed the tournament championship with a score of 364, shaving 21 strokes off their score of 385 just two weeks prior.
Leading the way for the Lady Tigers was Kylee Strickland placing 1st with a 78, Reese Ball with a 92, Sophie Greco and Olivia Reed shooting a 97, and Caroline Currey with a 117. Next up for the Lady Tigers is the District Preview at Tempest Golf Club on March 7. Benny Blaser coaches MPHS golf.
