MPPD Gets Grant for Body Cams

The Mt. Pleasant PD has received a grant of about $8600 to purchase 24 new body cameras for patrol officers. The cameras will record all of an officers actions while on duty, and are designed to protect police as well as suspects in altercations that develop during police operations.
