Mt Pleasant Chapel’s Teacher Is A Finalists

H-E-B presented Mt Pleasant Chapel Hill Elementary teacher Julie Levesque and the school district with a check for $1,000 each. Julie is one of seven North Texas educators named finalists for a 2016 H-E-B Excellence in Education Award. All finalists are invited to San Antonio May 12-13 to compete on a statewide level for larger cash prizes totaling $430,000. Julie was surprised with the presentation in her classroom Tuesday morning at 9:00. Pictured are Julie and her husband Marc Levesque and her students.
