Mt Pleasant Gets First Certified City Secretary

Candias Webster is the first Certified City Secretary in the history of Mount Pleasant following her graduation from the Texas Municipal Clerks Certification Program on Jan. 12.

The municipal program is among the most stringent in the state and includes the following:

200 hours of individual home study
Examinations over each of the four courses
Attendance at eight two-day seminars

Attending graduation ceremonies in Denton, Texas, with Candias was her husband, James, along with members of the City staff.
