Mt Pleasant Homeowner Captures Burglar

Mount Pleasant police responded to a burglary in progress on West 5th Street after a homeowner reported that a man was in his garage stealing tires off of his car. When officers arrived they found the homeowner holding the suspect at gun point inside the garage. 24 year old Jose Luis Martinez Junior of Mount Pleasant, has been charged with residential burglary and booked into the Titus County Jail.
