Mt Pleasant Man Jailed In Tyler Shooting Incident

Authorities arrested a mand from Mt Pleasant in connection with a shooting incident in Tyler. Paramedics hospitalized 32-year-old Steven Forman, of Gladewater, with gunshot wounds, and someone transported 33-year-old Brandon Dixon, shot multiple times, by a private vehicle to the hospital listed in critical condition. Officers arrested 30-year-old Lanard Askew, of Mt Pleasant, for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. The investigation is continuing.
