Mt Pleasant Woman Dies in Early Sunday Morning Shooting

Mount Pleasant Police are investigating the death of a 38-year-old woman who was apparently caught in the crossfire between two people involved in an altercation between participants of two separate parties on Booker Street. When officers arrived at one location at about 12:24 Sunday morning, they found Tammy Denise Jordon deceased. Several people are being questioned or being sought for questioning and the investigation is continuing.    Detectives believe Tammy was an innocent victim and was not involved in the dispute between the two suspects.
