Mt Pleasant’s New Sports Complex

Mt Pleasant’s City Council looked over a proposal Tuesday evening of a new multi-million dollar sports complex. The project is planned at Town Lake north of downtown and includes a $3.6 million soccer stadium. Texas Parks and Wildlife is providing a half-million grant for the fields. The park also includes a nature trail, playground, fountain and a 30×50 foot pavilion. Construction could be finished by October 2018.
