Agencies Investigating East Texas Gambling

U.S. Department of Homeland Security Investigators and local authorities joined forces to execute search warrants connected to an investigation into financial crimes and illegal gambling in Upshur County. The study is reportedly not limited to Upshur County but other East Texas counties. It focuses on conspiracy, gambling, and money laundering. They will seek indictments against the subjects of the investigation.
