Multiple Crashes On I-30 In Hopkins County

Hopkins County Deputies and first responders report numerous wrecks on I-30 this morning blamed on icy roads. There was a crash involving eight 18-wheelers at the 114 westbound mile marker, and they said there were no injuries. That scene was cleared by first responders shortly before 9:00 am. Sulphur Springs Water Supply workers and county precinct workers are on standby while city crews are sanding the roadways.

Cumby City Hall is closed with city crews on stand-by. Como City Hall is currently open.
