Multiple Volunteer Fire Departments Battle Lamar County House Fire

Multiple volunteer fire departments responded to a fire that destroyed a house on Lamar CR 43350 near Denny Lake over the weekend. The Faught department was first on the scene, and they requested assistance from the Powderly, Blossom, Chicota, and Hopewell departments. The home of Rodney and Linda Flippen was determined to be a total loss.
