Nance Joins Hopkins County Health Care Foundation Staff

 

Sulphur Springs, TX—The Hopkins County Health Care Foundation is pleased to announce that Emily Nance is its new coordinator for community engagement and fundraising. In this role, Nance will work to involve and inform residents about the Foundation’s events and programs, which raise awareness and funds to improve local healthcare.

“We are so pleased to add Emily and her skills to the Foundation. We are growing in what we do and offer, so it was time for the office to expand,” said Pam Black, chair of the Foundation Board of Directors.

Nance has previously assisted the Foundation with the Gala by serving on the committee and working on the event for the last two years.

Kayla Price, executive director of the Foundation, shared, “Emily has been a wonderful Foundation volunteer, so it is great to have her contributing to the Foundation daily.  She loves the community and has a heart for healthcare, so it is a natural fit.”

Nance expressed her excitement for her new role and added, “I am honored to serve the Foundation full-time.  I can’t imagine a better cause to work for or a better group to work with.”

Nance is a graduate of Texas A&M University-Commerce, Dallas Dental Assistant School, Paris Junior College, and Sulphur Springs High School. She brings professional success with social media, event management, and process management that will aid the Foundation in achieving its goals.

Emily is the daughter of Annabell and Jim Nance. She enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews, traveling, and serving on annual medical mission trips.

The Foundation began in 1997 and raises funding to strengthen local healthcare.  It is an IRS-designated 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.

 

Sulphur Springs, TX – La Fundación de Atención Médica del Condado de Hopkins se complace en anunciar que Emily Nance es su nueva coordinadora de participación comunitaria y recaudación de fondos. En este rol, Nance trabajará para involucrar e informar a los residentes sobre los eventos y programas de la Fundación que crean conciencia y fondos para mejorar la atención médica local.

“Estamos muy contentos de agregar a Emily y sus habilidades a la Fundación. Estamos creciendo en lo que hacemos y ofrecemos, por lo que era hora de que la oficina se expandiera”, dijo Pam Black, presidenta de la Junta Directiva de la Fundación.

Nance ha ayudado previamente a la Fundación con la Gala sirviendo en el comité y trabajando en el evento durante los últimos dos años.

Kayla Price, directora ejecutiva de la Fundación, compartió: “Emily ha sido una maravillosa voluntaria de la Fundación, por lo que es genial tenerla contribuyendo a la Fundación todos los días.  Ella ama a la comunidad y tiene un corazón para la atención médica, por lo que es un ajuste natural”.

Nance expresó su entusiasmo por su nuevo cargo y agregó: “Me siento honrada de servir a la Fundación a tiempo completo.  No puedo imaginar una mejor causa para trabajar o un mejor grupo con el que trabajar”.

Nance se graduó de la Universidad de Texas A&M-Commerce, la Escuela de Asistentes Dentales de Dallas, el Paris Junior College y la Escuela Secundaria Sulphur Springs.  Aporta éxito profesional con las redes sociales, la gestión de eventos y la gestión de procesos que ayudarán a la Fundación a alcanzar sus objetivos.

Emily es la hija de Annabell y Jim Nance.  Le gusta pasar tiempo con sus sobrinas y sobrinos, viajar y servir en viajes misioneros médicos anuales.
