National Guard To Assist With Vaccination Of Elderly

Beginning Monday, the state will deploy more than 1,100 Texas National Guardsmen across the state to help communities give COVID-19 vaccines to homebound seniors. Some guardsmen will register people while other members will be involved in the vaccination process. Texas will work with organizations like Meals-On-Wheels and nursing groups to identify homebound seniors who volunteer to be vaccinated.
