National Police Week Memorial Service For Lamar County Tomorrow

The National Police Week Memorial Service for Lamar County will be tomorrow at 6:00 pm at Bywaters Park in downtown Paris sponsored by the Lamar County Sheriff’s Office and Paris Police Department. Sergeant Bryan Shaw,  a police officer with the Dallas County Community College District will be the featured speaker at the service. Sgt. Shaw survived the deadly attack on police officers in downtown Dallas in July 2016. He exchanged gunfire with the suspect and did not realize he had been shot and injured until later in the evening.
