National WEA, EAS Tests Wednesday

FEMA will conduct a nationwide test of their Wireless Emergency Alerts and Emergency Alert System tomorrow. The WEA test will begin at 1:18 p.m. with the EAS test following immediately at 1:20 p.m, Texas time. The WEA test message will be sent to all cell services that are participating in WEA. This will mark the first time a WEA test has been conducted.
