NE Texas City Sued Again

A hearing is set for January 20 for another lawsuit against the city of East Mountain. The suit claims the city has refused to release public records — despite multiple demands to do so from Attorney General Ken Paxton. There are two other lawsuits filed against the city, another similar suit that the city withheld information, and another that the city violated the state constitution by having the same person appointed as police chief and city administrator.
