NE Texas Inmate Dead Of Suspected Suicide

Authorities are investigating after an inmate was found hanging in his cell at the BI-State Jail. Staff began CPR but were unsuccessful and Michael Rodden was pronounced dead. He was incarcerated on two counts of Bond Surrender for Possession of a Controlled Substance. His death is believed to be self-inflicted but an autopsy has been ordered and Texas Rangers are leading the investigation.
