NE Texas Judge Wants More Info On Proposed Plea Bargain

A New Mexico man, arrested in Bowie County for possession of 166 pounds of marijuana, is interested in a plea bargain. The judge in the case, however, John Tidwell wants more information before deciding if he will accept the terms of the agreement. Judge Tidwell has ordered a pre-sentence investigation on 30-year-old Francisco Gutierrez, who was arrested on the charges last September.
