NE Texas Man Arrested After Manhunt

Bowie County Deputies, with the help of a helicopter, arrested Dakoda Dodd, of Redwater for allegedly assaulting his mother with a baseball bat. He’s being held in jail without bond. The victim, Patty Dodd was transported to a Shreveport hospital. Dakoda has been charged with aggravated assault, family violence, and failure to ID after he gave officers fictitious name.
