NE Texas Man Charged With Choking, Arson

Bowie County Deputies responded to a residence in Maud to investigate reports of a family disturbance and house fire. Investigators determined that the fire had been deliberately set, and a warrant was issued for William Turner. Deputies arrested Turner for allegedly choking a family member, and while he was in jail, added the arson charge against him.
