NE Texas Man Charged With Robbing Arkansas Bank

A Northeast Texas man has been arrested for robbing a bank in Arkansas. Authorities say 74-year-old Johnny Crawford of Winnsboro entered the Bank of the Ozarks in Hope, pulled out a gun and demanded money. A short time later, a Hempstead County deputy located Crawford’s SUV and took him in to custody without incident. Money allegedly stolen from the bank was recovered.
