33 year old Adam Ward of Commerce was put to death by lethal injection last night in Huntsville. Ward was condemned for fatally shooting 44 year old Code Enforcement Officer Michael “ Pee Wee” Walker 11 years ago after an argument about junk in the yard in front of Ward’s home. Ward claimed self defense in the case. Attorneys for Ward say he is seriously mentally ill.
