NE Texas Man Fatally Shot – Investigation Continues

Bowie County Deputies were called to a home Thursday morning near Liberty-Eylau and found a man dead from a gunshot wound. The woman, who had called officers, said her ex-boyfriend had choked her into unconsciousness, and when she woke up, she fatally shot him. No charges have been filed and the investigation continues.
