NE Texas Man Sentenced In Armed Robbery

A Northeast Texas man who robbed a Texarkana convenience store and stabbed an employee with a screwdriver has reached a plea bargain with Bowie County prosecutors. Twenty-year-old Oral Sonny Shorter, Jr, who had also stolen a car a day before the holdup – was sentenced to 45 years in prison.
