Texas State Representative Gary VanDeaver is postponing some upcoming events after testing positive for the coronavirus. VanDeaver said Tuesday he is quarantining at home while running a fever and coping with other symptoms. He said the “Listening Tours” he had planned will be rescheduled. VanDeaver represents Texas House District 1, including Franklin, Lamar, Red River, and Bowie counties.
