NE Texas Woman Faces Murder Charge

A Northeast Texas woman has been charged with murder for the fatal shooting of her boyfriend in the Liberty-Eylau community. Reportedly, 40-year-old Tonya Barnett, of Texarkana, first said she killed 35-year-old Cecil Ellis, Jr., of Hope, Arkansas, in self-defense after an assault, but changed her story to an accidental shooting. She is currently out on bond.
