NE Texas Woman HIt By Train, Survives

A woman was hospitalized after she was struck by a freight train while walking on the edge of railroad ties in downtown Atlanta. Reportedly, 42-year-old Shalonda Sloan was taken to a local hospital and then transported to Texarkana where her condition was not disclosed. The train was traveling about 40 mph when the accident occurred.
