NE Texas Woman Pleads Not Guilty To Agg Assault With D/W

A Northeast Texas woman who allegedly ran over Julian Clagg of Texarkana and fractured  his skull has pleaded not guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon causing serious bodily injury. 35 year old Michelle Purvis appeared in Bowie County District Court with her attorney, Jeff Bell, who entered the plea before District Judge Leon Pesek. The incident started with an altercation between Purvis and Clagg’s live-in girlfriend Ashley Venable, who was dragged by Purvis’s vehicle during the incident. Purvis is currently out on bond.
