Neglected Horses Seized In Gladewater

Gladewater police and animal control officers seized 9 neglected horses over the weekend from a location in the 700 block of South Rodeo Street after an investigation showed they had no food or water fit for consumption. Investigators say this was not the first time the horses had had no feed and mosquito infested water. The animals were placed with Safe Haven Equine Rescue Center. Animal Cruelty charges are pending against the horses’ owners.
