New Boston Murder Trial Continues

In New Boston, Toddrick Eugene Matthews, 40, is accused in the September 2013 death of Sonjha Banks, 37. A witness in the Bowie County murder trial testified Wednesday that the defendant confessed to the crime on the night of the killing in 2013. Toddrick Matthews’ stepbrother, George Matthews, testified under questioning by First Assistant District Attorney Kelley Crisp.
