New Charges In Collin County Woman’s Homicide Case

New charges have been filed against a Collin County woman accused of fatally shooting her husband. Investigators say after Morgan Leigh Sims, of McKinney, allegedly killed her husband, took off and left her two young children at the home. That resulted in charges of endangering a child. Sims claims she had been repeatedly abused by her husband and is claiming self-defense.
