New COVID Vaccine Said To Be Extremely Effective

Pfizer and BioNTech, two major pharmaceutical companies, say their vaccine is more than 90% effective at preventing COVID-19. The companies plan to ask the FDA for emergency authorization of the two-dose vaccine later this month. Pfizer officials said that it would have manufactured enough doses to immunize up to 20 million people by the end of the year. Health officials say everyone should continue to socially distance, wear a mask, and be aware of risky behavior.
