New high-tech Weather Radar has been installed on top of the Reno City water tower. The equipment is provided by Climavision, a Kentucky-based company that sells climate data to media companies. The new radar will fill in the gaps of radar coverage for rural areas not covered adequately by the distance from current radar sites in Fort Worth and Texarkana.
