New Summerfield Woman Found Dead In Fire

A New Summerfield woman was found dead inside a mobile home after fire destroyed it. New Summerfield Police received a call about the fire from the woman’s husband around 5:30 pm Monday after he returned home and found the mobile home in flames. They recovered the woman’s body four hours later. The Cherokee County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the incident.
