New Texas Law Raises Age For Smoking And Vaping

A new Texas law goes into effect on September 1. It raises the legal age for smoking or vaping to 21. Those in the military may still legally smoke at the age of 18. Recent studies show that 12% of Texas High School students smoke cigarettes and 19% use vaping products.
