New Voting Machines For Hopkins County

In a special called meeting Friday, Hopkins County Commissioners voted to purchase new and improved voting machines for the county. The purchase was approved unanimously. Following the court session, commissioners met in a work session and agreed to place a proposal on the next Commissioners Court meeting for a new court building to be constructed adjacent to the new jail. If approved, the money for the project would be paid for by money left over from the recent county bond election.
