The Paris, Prairiland, Chisum and North Lamar volleyball teams will have a play day at Prairiland high school on Saturday. The teams started practicing on Wednesday for the upcoming season.
In the Hall of Fame game last night the Baltimore Ravens defeated the Chicago Bears 17-16.
The actual Hall of Fame ceremony will be Saturday night. Former Dallas Cowboy Terrell Owens is planning to skip the ceremony. Owens plans to give his speech at his alma mater, Tennessee-Chattanooga earlier in the day.
Five walks by Rougned Odor was just part of the craziness in Arlington last night as Texas defeated Baltimore 17-8. Odor became the first player in MLB history to have five walks in a game with none of them being intentional and a home run.
